SUBWAY delivers a Thank You to Local United Way Partner Agencies
Subway restaurants are taking time out to volunteer workers and others who serve their communities on November 3rd, known as National Sandwich Day. And what better way to thank busy human service workers and non profits than to deliver a no-strings-attached lunch?
“With all of the challenges these folks face in their jobs every day, we thought they could use a day when they DIDN’T have to worry about at least one thing – lunch!” said local owner and operator Nirav Patel.
They brought about 400 foot-long sandwiches total to programs at Providence House, The Lester A. Drenk Center, Family Service, Crossroads, Burlington County Behavioral Health Care (Delaware House) and The Tender and United Way of Burlington County.
